When I give a seminar on auriculotherapy, I always give great importance to the innervation of the ear. In fact, the innervation of the ear explains why auriculotherapy is so successful. Jean Bossy, René Bourdiol, both emphasized the triple innervation of the external ear: the vagus nerve, the maxillary branch of the trigeminal nerve, and the superficial cervical plexus. Today, this fact seems obvious. Obvious and normal.
