With a total of eight electrodes (2 x 2 for hands and 2 x 2 for feet), the BF 1000 measures body composition in detail. Through Cross Measurement, a precise calculation of body composition is ensured, as measurements are taken from four points on the body.
The BF 1000 calculates:

The BF 1000 is an elegant and robust scale with a standing surface made of 10 mm thick safety glass. The scale has a max. capacity of 200 kg. The scale comes with a stand. The large display measures 112 x 65 mm and provides a detailed view of all measured values, as well as a graphical trend display for the development of: body weight, fat percentage, water percentage, and muscle percentage. The scale can store up to 30 measurements. The BF 1000 has space for up to 10 users and has a guest function, which can be used if you quickly want to take a one-off measurement or if you don't need to save your measurements.
New feature: Measurement of visceral fat
With the BF 1000, it is now possible to gain insight into your visceral fat value. Visceral fat is the fat that surrounds the internal organs. It is also what we call "the dangerous fat." It can have many negative consequences for health if this value is too high. For example, people with a lot of visceral fat are at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes and high blood pressure. Visceral fat is dangerous because it is not always visible on the body whether the value is high. An increased amount of visceral fat occurs in people with an inactive lifestyle and an unhealthy diet, and the term "thin-fat" precisely covers this scenario.
Values for healthy/unhealthy amount of visceral fat:
1 – 12: Normal range
13 – 59: Too high a proportion of visceral fat
Automatically transfer all data to Beurer HealthManager
The BF 1000 has Bluetooth and can connect to the Beurer HealthManager app. The app is compatible with iOS 10.0 and up, as well as Android 5.0 and up. Connection to the scale is established through the app. Once connected and a measurement is completed, the result of the measurement will automatically be transferred to your smartphone/tablet.
