Decency

The « Robert » dictionary defines decency as a feeling of discomfort experienced by a tactful person towards a situation, which is in conflict with his or her understanding of dignity. The « Larousse » dictionary describes it as « a discretion or self-control to say or to do something, which might offend the decency, courtesy or discretion.»
