What is TDP Lamp?
    Aladdin's miracle lamp has been well known by thoose who read the story "One thousand, and one one nights" , the most popular arabic legend.
How ever, have you ever thought of the existance of a real "Miracle Lamp" ? Here it is: The TDP Special Electromagnetic Health Lamp(TDP Lamp for short). Invented in China by a friend of scientists and physicians headed by Dr. Gou Wenbin, the TDP Lamp is a new type of therapeutic and health device. With the functions of promoting metabolism, regulating physiological deficiency, diminishing inflammation and easting pain, the TDP Lamp has prove extraordinarily effective in treating numerous ailments such as musular sore and pain, soft tissue, injuries and various skin conditions.
 
Since its introduction to clinic and families, the TDP Lamp has succesfully treated up to 60million patients in China, HongKong, South Asia, Japan, Europe, Australia and just recently North America. Due to its prominent therapeutic effects the TDP Lamp is know in China and Hong Kong as the "Miracle Lamp".
 
As a confirmation of its acceptence by the international community, the TDP Lamp won a gold medal at the Zegreb international Fair, spring 1986 in Yugoslavia and a silver medal at the 35th Brussels Eureka World Fair for invention in December of the same year. Also the TDP Lamp has been registered with the FDA for being marketed in the United States.
 
How does it work?
    Different from the conventional infrared lamp and microwave therapeutic device, the CQ-27 Single Head TDP Floor Lamp features a round plate coated with a proprietary mineral formation consisting of 33 elements essential to the human body. When activated by an built-in electric heating element, this mineral plate emits a special band of electromagnetic waves ranging from 2 to 25(microns) in wavelength and 28 to 34 mw/sq.cm in intensity that coincide with the wavelength and intensity of the electromagnetic waves released by a human body and consequently absorbed by the body (so-called selective absorption).
 
This absorbed electromagnetic energy has been found to yield therapeutic effects on the human by 1) helping generate various benefical biochemichal stimuli that the body may lack due to ilness, accudent or injury; 2)accelerating the decomposition of unstable structures such like dead cells; 3) enchancing the body's function of adjustment and immunity.
 
Indications:
    Surgical diseases: Various soft-tissue injuries, burn wounds, frostbite, bedsore, chronic skin ulcer, prostatitis, male sexual disfunction, secondary sterility, vasculities, wound infection, cystospasm caused by interstitial cysstitis, omitis, rheumatic arthritis etc....
 
Medical diseases: Adult acute or chronic functional diarrhea, chronic bronchitis, angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease, silicoses etc...
 
Gynetologic diseases: Dysmenorrhea, plevic infection, irregular menstruation, secondary infertility, etc...
 
Pediatric diseases: infant diarrhea, childrens pneumonia, scleredema, neonatorum, parotitis, etc...
 
Otorhinolaryngologic diseases: Auricle perischondritis, otitis media, nasosinusitis, periodotitis,etc...
 
Neurologic diseases: Bell's facial paralysis, neurasthenia, the sequelae caused by cerebrovascular, accidents, etc...
 
Skin diseases: Eczema, manual and crural tinea seborrheic dermatitis, herpes zoster, neurodermatitis, scleroderma, alopecia, etc...
 
 
Contraindications:
    Following symptoms unsuitable for TDP treatment: Highe fever, open pulmonary tubersculosis, serious arterio, scleroses, tendency of bleeding, patient with hypertension avoids shining the head.
 
Operation:
1. Assemble the TDP Lamp and adjust the position of the head according to Fig. 4
 
2. Insert the plug into a rater voltage power supply socket and turn on the lamp by depressing the power switch. The          indicator will be lit, the lamp will be ready for use after being preheated for 10-15minutes.
 
3. Expose the trouble part of the body or the relevant acupuncture points(see table X and Fig.X) directly toward the lamp head. Normally use a TDP exposing different parts toward a few lamps is allowed.
 
4. The distance of 20 to 30cm(8 to 12inches) is ok from the lamp head to the troubled part. The best result is obtainted when the local skin temperature is kept at 40degress celsius (104 Fahrenheit) or the patient feels comfortable.
 
5. Treatment time length: 30 to 60minutes each time, once or twice a day; 7 to 10days a course of treatment, but it can be for a long period for the purpose of health-care.

A new system has seen the light in TCM, it is 7 years old, so it is still on the elementary stadium, we have the best experiences on people with high bloodpressure.
 
The system looks like the old one, but it works faster and better, and it is a promise. I will tell you about 9 patients.
 
This is NOT an scientific experiment, only information, for interested acupuncturist. I discovered this metode by a coincidence. And that's what makes it funny and very interesting.
 
I used following points; Li.3 Taichong, H.8 Shaofu, Ex.6 Sishencong. But I missed the Li.3 Taichong with about 0.2 chun above the point. I desided not to tell the patient that I had made a mistake, so I took another needle, and put it exactly into the Li.3 Taichong. Then I got a strange idea; I took 2 electrodes, put it on the needle that was placed in Li.3 Taichong, and the point 0,2 chun above Li.3 Taichong, the voltage was 20 hz, and after only 45 sec. the bloodpressure went from 265/130 to 170/85 and the patient said "What is happening with me".
 
It also works faster, when you treat pain. For exampel pain in shoulders, use St.38 Tiaokou and 0,2 chun above with 20 herz, you will not believe it.

THE CONCLUSION:
This new metode of treatment, can open new doors. At the moment we are investigating the phenomenom on other diaseases, mostly pain diseases. It is looking very promising. I would like to thank all of you, members of the panel and Sir Anton.

Different analgesic effects of manual and electrical acupuncture stimulation of real and sham auricular points: a blind controlled study with rats.

Stimulation of the auricle is considered to be an effective analgesic technique. The aim of the present study is to establish whether there is a correspondence between somatic inflammation and the appearance of lower resistance points, and moreover, whether the stimulation of such points has an analgesic effect. The study has been conducted on 57 male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing between 120-140 g; 7 of them have been used to determine whether inflammation in the paw leads to the formation of lower resistance points on the auricle. The 50 remaining animals have been divided into 5 groups: Group 1 [12 animals], control were subjected to all manipulations with the exception of the auricle stimulation; Group 2 [12] was stimulated with manual acupuncture in the area corresponding to that observed in the above-mentioned first group of 7 animals; Group 3 [12] was stimulated with 5 Hz and 5 mA; electroacupuncture (EAP) Group 4 [8] and group 5 [6] were treated with acupuncture and with EAP respectively on points believed to be inactive in areas diametrically opposite to the ones observed in the first group. After acupuncture, 100 microg capsaicin in 50 microL of physiological solution were injected subcutis in the dorsal surface of the paw. Edema response was monitored for two hours, with measurement taken every 5 minutes. The results show a reduction in the edema response, only in the group treated with EAP on the appropriate points compared to the control group; no variation was observed in the sham groups. To conclude, the hypothesis of a somatotopic division would seem to be probable, and it would seem that the stimulation of the appropriate areas and the use of an appropriate intensity constitute the two main variables influencing the result.
 
 
 
 
 
       
 
What needle should I use?
 
To choose a needle can be difficult, why? Because you never know what quality you get.    
    a. The quality has to be in top.
    b.The needles should be in paperblister pack.
    c.There should be exp. date on every box.
    d.The company name and phone should be on the box.
    e.The factory has to have different machines to messure the steel hardnes and sharpnes.
    f. The needles should always have Approval.
 
2. You never know for sure at what factory they are made.
    a. This is a strange thing. If I buy needles from factory X - I will never be sure it is from this factory - Why? Because the biggest         factories like HuanQiu and Cloud & Dragon make the needles for many of the other known brands, and the best needles is their     own.
 
3. Do the distributor have CE/ISO documents on the needle? AcupunctureShop.com have all papers and documentations. We         have made dobbelt contron for the ISO and CE.
 
4. Have there been made any test on the needles from the distributor?     Copper is beautyfull and can be made with low cost. The handle makes the needle like a spring. The silver handle needle is like     the copper with low cost and gorgues. The negative thing is that copper handle and silver handle make the steel a little                     soft because of the spring reaction. Therefor it takes a little practise and 75% of all needles in the world are made this way.             HuanQiu was the first factory in the world to make this sort of handle.
    b. Aluminium handle, is a very beautyfull and extremely strong needle, at the same time it is very light.  Most people adore                 this needle because of the sturdiness and painless function.
    c. Steel handle from Cloud & Dragon is our newest needle(my personal favorite). The needle was made for the US and                     Japanise market. The steel handle makes the needle extremely strong, steel is a new sort that makes the punctura painless, and     smooth operation. The packing is fantastic and in 5 pcs and 100 in a box.  It makes the treatment faster, because the needles         are all in line. The price is still very low. Try this needle once in your life. The needle is sold instead of silicon plated needles. 
 
7. Because a needle is more expensive, is the needle better or? No, most needle are made of the same steel - some                                 factories charge severel 100 % - this madnes has been stopped by AcupunctureShop.com  and our distributores. Our factories     has the highest quality with lowest cost.
 
8. ASP needles. The ASP needles from Sedatelec is made in stainless, non nickel and chrom, steel. This is the best perma needle     ever made. Please do not use copy products, they are not the same.
